Welcome to Vibrancy Salon! I’m Taylor, and after spending a few years in Boone/Ames, I’m excited to be back and proudly serving my hometown community of Ankeny. I look forward to bringing my passion for hair and beauty to the place that means the most to me!

 

As a mom and someone who understands the challenges of mental health, I know how important it is to feel special, comfortable, and confident in a calming atmosphere. That’s why I’ve designed my studio suite experience to focus entirely on you—your needs, your comfort, and your self-expression. My goal is to ensure that you leave feeling uplifted, relaxed, and more confident than ever before.

 

I take pride in creating a non-judgmental space where you can freely share your ideas. With extensive training and ongoing education, I’m committed to perfecting my craft and providing my clients with the best skills and experience possible. Specializing in vivid colors and blonding allows me to express my creativity and help you embrace your own individuality as the fun and wonderful person you are.

 

While many stylists focus on offering a great first visit and consistent maintenance, I take a different approach. My role as your stylist goes beyond a single appointment—it's about creating a long-term hair care plan to ensure your cut, color, and style always look fresh, so you never feel stuck or bored. I’ll check in with you throughout the year to address any new hair concerns, and together we’ll keep your style evolving. 

I’m very detail-oriented and attentive, ensuring you love both your hair and your experience. I want you to feel confident knowing my priority is helping you love every aspect of your hair.

 

To make sure your experience is comfortable and personal, I offer a thorough consultation, and I never double book, ensuring you receive my full attention in a private, relaxing space. For added comfort, I also offer silent appointments if that’s what you prefer. All of my services are gender-neutral and gender-affirming to ensure you feel seen, supported, and confident throughout your entire experience.

 

When I’m not in the salon, I love watching anime, true crime, and cartoons—I’m definitely a kid at heart! My husband and I are high school sweethearts, and we have a 1-year-old son named Rowan, who we lovingly call our “ball of serotonin” because he’s the happiest little guy I’ve ever known. I also enjoy all things art, especially painting and digital design, and I’m a big fan of playing The Legend of Zelda.
